Getting error "This application has failed to start because cslibu-2-1.dll was not found"

During the installation of .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite you receive an error that states: "This application has failed to start because cslibu-2-1.dll was not found"

Solution

You didn't follow the minimum requirements for the edition of .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite you installed.

There are currently 4 editions (explanation of what editions are) of .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite, each is compiled for a specific version of the Crystal Reports API, and therefore prior to installing .rpt Inspector Professional Suite, you must have an appropriate version of Crystal Reports installed first.

If you are evaluating .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite (for BO XI and CR XI), as stated in the specifications and requirements, for this edition of .rpt Inspector to function, you must first have Crystal Reports XI installed on the system before installing .rpt Inspector.

If you are evaluating .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite (for BO XIr2 and CR XIr2), as stated in the specifications and requirements, for this edition of .rpt Inspector to function, you must first have Crystal Reports XI Release 2 installed on the system before installing .rpt Inspector.
