BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.x support in .rpt Inspector Enterprise Suite

Thank you for your interest in our support of BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.0 and/or BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1.

Today there are currently 4 editions of .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite (click here for an explanation of what editions are). Each is compiled around a specific version of the BusinessObjects Enterprise, Crystal Reports API and runtime files and therefore requires a specific version of Crystal Reports to be installed on your system prior to installing .rpt Inspector. This basically means that there needs to be a 1:1 match of the Crystal Reports version to the .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite edition (click here for the specification and requirements of each edition).

You can work with BusinessObjects Enterprise 3.0 and/or BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 today!

While there is no "native" edition or version of .rpt Inspector Enterprise Suite available currently (it is in development, unfortunately running behind schedule) -- you CAN work with reports created with BusinessObjects Enterprise 3.0 and/or BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 today with .rpt Inspector 3.1 Enterprise Suite (for BO XIr2 and CR XIr2) edition. To do so will require that you match the correct version of Crystal Reports to either of those editions (click here for the specification and requirements of each edition).

A version that is natively compiled around BusinessObjects Enterprise 3.x -- and therefore will only require that you have Crystal Reports 2008 installed, is currently in development. However, due to the major development changes in the Crystal Reports 2008 API and runtime files, .rpt Inspector Enterprise Suite had undergone major rewrites and unfortunately is running behind schedule.
